Holy Mother Sri Sri Sarada Devi’s 169th Birth Anniversary – 2021
On Sunday, December 26, 2021, at 3:00 pm PST Swami Prasannatmananda, Swami-In-Charge of the Vedanta Society Berkeley performed a special worship on the occasion of Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi’s 169th birth anniversary at Berkeley Vedanta Center, California. Due to the increase of Omicron variant of Covid 19 pandemic, a limited number of devotees who had updated vaccinations were allowed on site. The event was live-streamed on YouTube and Facebook Live. Many devotees watched the program online. A few volunteers wearing masks and following social distancing helped in preparing for the puja and cooking prasad. Cooked Khichuri Prasad boxes were distributed to the attendees since eating was not allowed on the premises owing to the resurgence of pandemic.
