Dear All,
I am sure that by the grace of the Holy Trio, you're all doing well in the midst of this relentless COVID-19 pandemic all over the country and the world. We are looking forward to a great day to resume our regular events and schedules. As the congregation is still not allowed to gather in full and we do not know when the shelter in place will end, we're unable to return to our regular schedule.
However, we will continue our Sunday morning lectures from the sanctuary through live streaming as usual. Please note that the premises of the Vedanta Society Berkeley and San Jose will remain closed until further notice.

People of different faiths, as well as those who have no particular belief, can benefit from the lectures. Vedanta is impersonal and rational; it is not a particular creed but includes all creeds and affirms that they are different expressions of One Truth.
Online Annual General Meeting - 81st Annual General ONLINE Meeting of the members of the Vedanta Society Berkeley will be held on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 3:00 pm. The zoom link of the meeting will be sent to the members. On the same day at 11:00 am Swami Prapannananda, Minister and Teacher of Vedanta Society of Sacramento will deliver an online lecture on 'More Facts About Meditation'.
Lectures are delivered by Swami Prasannatmananda at the sanctuary of the Vedanta Society Berkeley, Berkeley every Sunday at 11:00 am. Please note that these lectures will be broadcasted through online Live Streaming and Berkeley and San Jose premises will remain closed due to COVID-19 pandemic until further announcement.

Men are taught from childhood that they are weak and sinners. Teach them that they are all glorious children of immortality. Let positive, strong, helpful thought enter into their brains from very childhood.
We hear, "Be good", taught all over the world. There is hardly a child, born in any country in the world, who has not been told, "Do not steal","Do not tell a lie", but nobody tells the child how he can help doing them. Only when we tech him to control his mind do we really help him.
